As I see in kdrama and kpop mv there are a lot beautiful celebreties and idols. Yeah they are pretty and I found out that some of korean people are stick to one standard of beauty and it really make me sad and it feel not ok. To other people all people are beautiful by their own style. In Korea based on my reading and video they said that big eyes, double-eyelid, small face, s line are beautiful and pretty, later on it make people look like the same.
This link is a video about the pressure that teenager in Korea faced, a part from their tension from study they have the pressure from the society about the standard of beauty. Then many of them want or have to undergo plastic surgery. What is this?! They do not value themselves as beautiful? But I have to admit this maybe cause of their society demand. As example: a company tend to employee a pretty and beautiful lady rather than a average korean look. Its a sad reality in korean society. Deep from my heart I'm glad that I'm not in Korea but indeed I still love Korea it just can't help. But I hope that somebody try to give a fresh perception or a new beauty standard that not the same.
